Trust is earned. Here is who we are legally, how we are governed and how we handle every donation.

Legal status

Registered with the Gharbia Directorate of Social Solidarity under No. 1971 of 2015 (17 June 2015).
Unified registration number 22111021414532 under NGO Law No. 149 of 2019.
A local, non-profit association supervised by the Ministry of Social Solidarity.

A seven-member Board of Directors, elected by the General Assembly, governs the association.
Chairman of the Board: Ahmed El-Habashy Mohamed Hawash.
Financial year: 1 July to 30 June.

Donations are accepted only into the association's own official account, or in person at our headquarters.
Every donation is recorded and receives an official receipt.
Designated gifts and Zakat are used only for their stated purpose.
We never ask for donations to a personal account or personal mobile wallet. If anyone does so in our name, please report it to info@rawdatelganna.org.eg.
If you made a payment by mistake, write to donate@rawdatelganna.org.eg with a copy of the transfer and we will review it with you.

Our registration decisions are published in the Egyptian Official Gazette (Al-Waqa'i' Al-Misriya), including the bylaws amendment in Issue 82 of 12 April 2025.
